Outdoor Cinema Food Fest is exactly what it sounds like. A movie plays on a 50-foot screen that is set up somewhere outdoors while food trucks (all the rage here in Los Angeles) are parked all around the block for your dining pleasure. Before each movie there is also, typically, a band. On this night [...]

Even though I have no idea what it’s like to run a record label, if I ever wanted to start one or work for one, Slumberland Records would be what I would want it to be like. For over twenty years now they have been consistently releasing some of the best independent music, well, independently and they [...]

Typhoon serves an amazing panoply of Asian cuisine. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, I would definitely recommend giving it a try. My favorite dishes: the Filipino style [...]
Last night I got to see The Scarlet Paradigm play at the world famous Whiskey a Go Go. More photos from the show after the jump.

And also a big thanks to Robert and his staff at the 533 Studio who made this all [...]
I was lucky enough to start 2009 watching my good friend and fellow photographer Bryan Villarin and his band the Scarlet Paradigm play at a studio/house party in Santa Monica. Happy 2009 everyone!
